Hows the ice down there, driving? Any action? I haven’t been down there this ice season yet, just curious what is happening as I may be in town.

      Thanks.

I believe there is still driving happening on both. Hanska has their contest tomorrow 11-3 and haven’t heard any “rules” put on for restricitons.

Sleepy eye had trucks driving on 10″ early this year so I’m assuming its still good to go.

Took my dad out for a little on Sleepy Eye Saturday, he was very happy to get out of his new apt a little! We found those not so elusive giant gills that the lake is known for. Ice was about 16in and quite a few houses out. He had a good time and enjoyed catching a few fish.

I didn’t make it to Hanska, but from reading the Journal, it sounded like the contest went well. Think they said the ice was about 16-18 over there too.

I did see one Pop up on the MN river, but it seems really high for this time of year. Looks funny out there.
