      What is the best way to target rainbows on a small inland lake this time of year? Depth? Lure? bait? TIA

        Shore fishing inland lakes we would make a slip sinker rig with a half oz weight,swivel,then 3-4 feet of line with plain hook and blown up crawler for bait.Cast it out and let sit with the bail open until a trout grabs and runs.In the boat we would troll small spoons or bettle spins slowly with the minnkota.Normally trolled in the mornings/evenings and shore fished during the day.
