Turkey season

Who’s hunting what season and where? I am archery this year again so have all season. Will be around Mora area. Have a few groups of birds located I’ve been watching/listening to a little bit so far. Did see a mega beard this morning on my drive by a peice I can hunt so may have to scout that area a little more as time gets a little closer. Upgraded to a CPL avian x decoys this year also. They look pretty sweet.

I’m archery this your too for the first time. My vacation requests need to be in before I would find out which season I got so archery was just easier with my work schedule. I have Friday off next week and hope to tag out that day but have a day or two off each week the next few weeks.

I’ll also be up in the Mora area. Have birds on my hunting land scratching around in last years food plot so that is plan A. I have a lot of house projects goin on right now so plan A may be my only plan…

Man I wish we could bow hunt around the cities. Have a group of toms in my neighborhood with at least 6 beards that just drag on the ground… They tease me every morning when walking my dog.

There were a dozen picking in the snow dump yesterday morning.

Or

Davern hill at St Paul Ave.

A flock seems to always be picking in the street when I drive down the hill.

Yep they are all over the cities. Last week walking the dog we came across a group of 10-12 males fighting over 3 hens. They were in the middle of the street and didn’t even care that we were trying to walk through, we ended having to turn around and go a different way.

Weather looks pretty warm again next week. Last year I shot my turkey sitting on a pile of snow so maybe this year I can too.

I’d rather have weather like last week though…

Well schools are cancled all around us and…. There is hardly enough snow to cover the ground.

The wind really is crazy. I’m glad I didn’t set up a ground blind in preparation for next week. It would for sure be gone by now.
