You won’t see the Canadian border open until July at the earliest would be my guess.

It is anybody’s guess when it will open. Hey I want it to open as I have been looking at buying a boat in Minnesota or ND but cant even have a look.

personally I do not see it opening until the number of Positive cases ID in the USA show a flattening of the curve.

Hey on the good side, there is NO market for pickerel therefore it looks like NO commercial fishing on Lake Winnipeg this year. <img decoding=” title=”” class=”bbcode_smiley” />

Looks like an impending extension is on it’s way…

Well looks like maybe August we can get up there, we will have to see. I feel bad for the resorts and all the revenue they are losing. Hope one day this crazy world gets back to normal………..Kirk

last I checked for hunters, sept 21st if she opens up at all just talk for now.

If canada doesn’t open, north dakota will be a shete show with more hunters rolling in,private land access will be challenging.

Looks like Trudeau extended the border closure through June 21st saying he would like to see 75% of the Canadian population vaccinated before easing border restrictions. Looks like another year of “no fishing” north of the border. I know a few outfitters up there that barely made it through last summer’s shutdown. I don’t think they can survive another summer like the last one
