      hey all…
I’m just putting this out there if anyone is interested in having a good time, enjoying a decent meal, supporting a good cause and local youth hunting and HS trap teams… oh, and you just might win some great prizes.

I started a local Delta Waterfowl chapter. We are the SE Metro chapter. We will be doing things like supporting local HS trap teams by donating money to them. We’ll be sponsoring youth waterfowl hunts. We’ll be hosting a firearms safety shooting day where we supply the ammo and targets. And maybe a few other things… things geared towards youth and the sport of hunting.

How do we do this? We hold a fund raising banquet. The cool thing about Delta Waterfowl, unlike other hunting groups (DU, Pheasants Forever, ect…) all the money raised doesn’t go to the mothership. We keep a percentage of the money the chapter raises, in the chapter, to do local things.

Our banquet is Thursday, Feb 22nd at the Cottage Grove VFW (The Red Barn) right off hwy 61 in Cottage Grove.
      Doors Open – 5:00 PM | Dinner – 7:30 PM

Youth (17 and under) tickets are just $20
      Single Ticket – $55
      Couples Ticket – $85
Table of 8 – $500 – includes reserved table and 8 meals and 8 Delta memberships
Table of 8 w/ Gun – $1,000 – includes reserved table, 8 meals, 8 Delta memberships and a gun for the table

Purchase tickets by 2/15/18 and be entered to win an Alps raffle bag & $200 in General Raffle tickets!

if you are on the facebook… here is a link Delta on Facebook

Hope maybe some of you are interested. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me via PM.

If guns kill people, can I blame my pen for my mistakes?

ya, we got guns… good hunting gear from heavy hauler, yeti… decoys.
We’ll have some guided trips (both hunting and fishing).
And did I mention it’s for a great cause? A portion of the proceeds stay local in our community.
Sign up and bring a friend, or bring a kid.
Every kid that comes is going away with a great swag bag.

just bumping this up there… for tickets, you can buy online.

We have a pheasant hunt, a fly fishing guided trip, lots of gear, guns, goodtimes. Did I mention that a portion of the proceeds goes to 3 local HS trap teams, and used to sponsor youth mentor hunts next fall?

8 days until the early bird deadline date. If you are going to go, please buy your ticket online before then. If you have any questions, please ask me.
Purchasing a ticket now will help us with the final planning for this event.
