Who has been out?

Awfully quiet in here. Anyone have any trips to share? The river has come down nicely lately. I’m stuck shore fishing the area.

I fished the Monticello area last week and the river was very low. My first spot I wanted to get to is a pretty good hike up the river from Montissippi park and along the way I ran into a nice warning from Xcel that the area I like to fish is now off limits. I’m blaming the late night cat fisherman who were starting fires down there at night for giving it away. Really a s*** deal because with the water being this low there are 3 nice holes to fish up there that would have been totally accessible from shore. I thought about testing it for a couple minutes but I figured they more than likely have a live feed camera hidden just hoping to see a guy go for it. The good old days of fishing around the plant are officially over. They have shut down the secret passage. ” title=”” class=”bbcode_smiley” />

Fished behind the hospital and got blanked and saw one smallie landed in the 30 minutes I stuck around.

If it doesn't matter who wins or loses, then why do they keep score? Vince Lombardi
