I am going to try to get out but the weather outlook isnt looking promising. It may be OK early in the evening but if it dips below freezing and things start to freeze up it isnt much fun.Last weekend I used a couple buddy heaters in the boat and that really helped.

My main motor lost the starter relay last Thur night. The part is in!!!!!!!
I think I’ll give it a whirl. I don’t know if a buddy heater will do much good in my 1900LE.
A buddy heater might not work in your boat but in my tyee I put one behind each consol and it was nice and toasty. They are a little touchy and I did have them go out a couple times but they stayed on most of the time. The people I had out last weekend said it was the first boat they had been in with a fireplace ” title=”” class=”bbcode_smiley” />

I can tell you that Terry’s and Eddy’s are good.
Public landing north of casino is low.
Depending on the size of your boat and the strength/directions of the winds it is usable but…
GO STRAIGHT OUT DO NOT TURN LEFT OR RIGHT
UNTIL YOU REACH DEEPER WATER!
Mike are you asking about ice?I heard there was some ice forming on the east side but dont know about the west.Hopefully the temp will warm up and it wont be an issue. Is this the MikeW I know.Welcome to LSF

Heading up Fri AM. I have some work to do but am planning on fishing Fri thru Sun nights. I hope that I can get out on the south end to hit my known spots.
