      Alright LSF’ers, I’m looking for some insight on how Winnie was over opener and this week. I’ll be heading up with my Pops this weekend for our 22nd year at Winnie! I’m anxious to share any good info with you all.

        My boss took some friends of his up to Mallard and hammered them on jig and minnows in 5 to 10 feet on Saturday. Two boats and close to 90 fish boated. Slow trolled and dragged the jigs. Had golden shiners. Another buddy said he did well that same evening at the Mississippi
        inlet on the Grandpa’s Point side. I fished Cass and did well really late at night. Got out at 1 am and pitched jigs out in front of Pug Hole. Did the inlet on the Andrusia side of the Miss yesterday afternoon and landed 15 from 1 to 330. Hugged the main break and dragged jigs with big fatheads. Nothing happened until the clouds came over. Bet it was lights out last night if they were biting that good in the day.

                Had a buddy up there last Wednesday and they did really well. Went back on friday and it was terrible. The storms over the weekend really shut things down
