Hi all,
Just saw the Canada-US border is now under tighter travel restrictions due to COVID-19. Though U.S. citizens can still cross after going through a health screening, my understanding is they will be asked to self-isolate for 14 days.
Can anyone share their recent experience crossing the border? Are bait shops currently open for business?
We are hoping to come up Wednesday, but the trip is in serious question.
Yes, very confusing. Canadians and Permanent Residents are to self isolate for 14 days. This is rapidly changing. I have a few calls in to see how this is going to work for US tourists. I will post if and as soon as I hear.
Not good news, what I am being told is that when you show up at the Borderyou will be asked your plans to self isolate for 14 days and if none you will be turn back.
You can call Canada Customs and ask to speak with Immigration.
