Mine was the ICE-55. I loved how easy on 55 year old eyes the display was. It recently died on me.

All the features were nice as well.

Yes, Yes that is a 39" Pike.

Mine is the FLX 28. It has multipul color plattes, nite mode to reduce the screen’s brightness and 20 IR settings which I use a lot when fishing with my buddy who has an ICE 55 (He gets the interference on his unit and can’t get rid of by adjusting his unit).

Even a fish wouldn't get cought if he kept his mouth closed!!

Had an Ice-45 and loved it until saw the Helix units.  Helix 7 is now my favorite.  Love the split screens with the zoom.

Have a Lowrance Hook that my kid uses.  Very simple to setup and identifies fish well.  Would put that up against anything.

Have also used the Marcum LX7 and enjoyed it.  It does well hole hopping as easily adjusts display for bottom.

I lean towards the graph display more then the flasher display and think most of them out there do the trick.

                Still using the Vex FL8!!

Which was quite the upgrade from the home built Eagle Silent 60 battery pack unit with the home built reticulated arm for the transducer.

(yes, it’s still down the basement, and yes it still operates just fine thank you!)
