I’m pretty positive that the transducer must be in the water for the DD100 to read correctly.

Yeah, i think Vexilar is a good group. never been down there in person, but they seem real nice to deal with. i am getting ready to buy a new 28, but the display seems really, really bright. Is that just me, or has anyone else noticed it?

You can cut the brightness down with night mode.

That rod should be fine Wade. I run 2lb on pline on my panfish setups and 4lb pline on my walleye setups. No braid for me, I fish outside most of the time and ice-up would be a big issue. If your always in a house I would consider Fireline Micro ice.

Cabelas Pinnacle Goretex gloves. Spendy but worth it. I’ve lost two pairs and picked up a replacement pair last night, with the primaloft insulation.

Spinners would be the most common to pull behind a bottom bouncer. A good staring point is 1oz of weight for every ten feet of water. Keeping your line at a 45 degree angle is best. Right around 1mph, give or take. Also, with spinners, you don’t set the hook really. Let your rod load up.

My dad picked up his limit Friday am. Released a couple low twenties fish too. Jig and leech I’d be willing to bet.

Haha, that first pic from Frontier was me. We slid off the ice there this morning, and were able to load easily this afternoon. Fishing was bad both days, pulled the plug early and came home.

Get in touch with Jon, the owner of Backtroller boats. I bet he would be interested.

Throw it on the ice. Every rock pile on ML looks like that.

Moving charges? Isn’t it priority to keep people on fish? Wow…
