I do think it is a welcome change for the Vikes. How many times can we try and pound in the ball at the 2-4 yd line and not make it. Norv for some reason did not yet know that the Vikings have one of if not the worst rushing in the NFL.

Great game on Sunday. Our defense won the game for us for sure but the offense looks better. The kittens are on against us Thursday. Let’s take back our division lead. good luck

Sundays game against the Cards…….. defense played well but but still aloud 24pts. Take away the two run backs and the Vikes lost the game. Our offense is still very offensive with only 217 net yards for the day. Hope the Vikes have a little “Pay Back” attitude for Turkey Day!
SKOL!
Forgot to mention the bright spot in the offense is Sam Bradford ……. IMHO.
Hard to say what would have happened without those 2 run backs. They essentially took 2 possessions away from the offense, they could have gone 75 yards each possession for TD’s. Then the score is the same and you add 150 yards of total offense to the stat sheet bringing it to 367.
The team still has a ton of issues. I’d put the ceiling on the season as maybe a first round playoff win on wild card weekend and then getting killed in the 2nd game. Thats about the best I can see them doing given the oline issues and lack of running game. Right now we can get away with a few wins because of our defense but in the playoffs the competition is better and our D isn’t good enough to win a playoff game against a top team.

Yeah cuz the Queens were just marching up and down the field.
Without the D, this team is pathetic and with the D, they are mediocre.
Lions by 3 on Thursday.

Actually Peterson will be back this Sunday. I do agree that he was terrible this year when he played and who knows how he will do Sunday but he is playing according to what I have seen. good luck.

The man needs reps. You don’t want to make your comeback at green bay in the cold. However, what’s the offensive line done to give any hope he’ll get the holes he needs. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

Rick Speilman should be fired today. Has to be one of the worst GMs in the game.
Where are all of his first round picks?
Treadwell, Waynes, Kalil, Patterson, Bridgewater, Barr. They either suck, are hurt, or we are still waiting for them to “develop.” The guy needs 12 picks a year cause he wiffs on so many of them.
This franchise is more dreadful than the Cleveland Browns. I would cut Peterson today and be done with him already.

I agree 100%. Speilman is a complete fool. He traded away what will be a top 15 pick knowing the front line would never be able to protect Bradford. Shaun Hill would have done just as good and they’d still have the first round pick. Zimmer doesn’t seem to be much brighter the longer he’s here.
But you have to give AP credit, he almost doubled his yards per carry average today. ” title=”” class=”bbcode_smiley” /> The Queens would have been better off trading that dead weight when he had some value.

Petersons contract is $18 million next year. If he didn’t show he could play theres a good chance the Vikings cut him and his contract this off season. If the knee holds up, even if the Vikings cut him some other team will sign him.
