That big girls is still there swimming around waiting to be caught again or make lots and lots of babies this spring.
Nice fish but I am sure it was the picture taker that made it, ha ha.
Oh yes, Jeff fishes a lot and this was his pb, problem with that now he has to break 31, maybe this march.

Was a chore to get them 7. All fish caught on a blue crome live forage rattle bait. And I put on a big treble like Canuck said and seemed to help. So thanks for that tip

February 1, 2020 at 4:04 am #714499Nice fish, glad you had good weather and caught some NICE BIG girls.
I have been up north helping a friend so have not been on the lake but if Big Windy cooperates this weekend (drops the wind forecast) I will give it a try.
February 3, 2020 at 5:43 pm #714500Fished the lake Sunday for 2 1/2 hrs, mid day and iced 10 with largest 25 and one break off, my knot failed.
I have been hearing it was slow for most guys but I can’t say that. Lots of ice, bring your extension, you might be OK but better be safe than sorry.
February 4, 2020 at 12:59 pm #71450110 walleye in 2.5 hours… I’m so jealous.. .1 more month and that will be me!
February 4, 2020 at 11:37 pm #714502IF I could give any advice for what every it may help, pick up the map sold by Hummingbird as it has amazing contours which should help.
I was fishing areas that had been good and now I see why and ALSO a lot more areas I will be targeting.
It is CHEAP $29.99 US. I have it on my Helix 7 AND cellular. Very detailed.
NO I do NOT work for Hummingbird.
