Guy’s sorry about the Red Door access…….as our luck in having a good access RAN OUT! Other resorts around the lake had problems earlier in the week, it was our turn.
We pulled, moved and made a number of changes with bridge arrangements that just didn’t last. The warm up in temperatures just busted up our shoreline enough that our long bridges could not span the damaged areas.
This was my post on facebook yesterday…summarizes it all
“”Quite the day with the Red Door Access””…….just watched the time laps! pretty entertaining to say the least! My day started out with me in my lake truck at 7:30am with a wowser…….The damaged ice below the bridge near shore gave way dropping below my truck as I was crossing it. My truck dropped about a foot before it hit bottom. Sure glad it was that shallow…..not a very pleasant feeling! At least I didn’t have to use my ice pick’s. Time for a few cold ones………
time for a day off!
Damn Bobber!!
Did you have to break for an apparel change?
I would have!!!
If I had dropped through the ice, I’d need an apparel change, even if I never hit the water… if you know what I mean.
