I was up on Saturday 11/23 to finish getting the skid house ready.

I saw ice and had ot walk on it. It was solid and slick. I fif not have cleats so I did not make it out to see how thick it was where someone had drilled a hole.

I was at the Flickabird access. It looked like the middle was open. The south end was all locked up.

Yes, Yes that is a 39" Pike.

Smaller. 80% were in the 9-10″ range.

            I had some nice Pike though. 26″ – 33″

You can make a fine meal with 9-10″ crappies!

Looks like there was 7-8″ of snow there. I assume the ice got pushed down and is got water on top of the ice now.

Bummer. Had been a good start of the season for good ice.

I was planning on going fishing there 12/9 but not sure now.

Was thinking of it as well.
But I think that I am going to wait until Drive Time.

Anyone been to Rush West or East lately?

I will be up this weekend. I am wondering if I can get around with the ATV or will I need to walk due to slush and snow.

2 hours ago on the Rush Point Store FB page.

This is as current as I could find.

Trevor O’Day Know the lake.. Hearing reports from 4 inches to 12 inches on west rush depending on the area.. The most i measured was 9 inches out off the east tip of cigar but havent been out this week

Found nothing on the East lake.

Maybe give Petersons a call at the resort?

last weekend Goose was great for travel, very little snow and no slush. I would assume Rush is similar. Found active panfish and pike.

I was on East Rush on Monday (1/6). Little to no snow and no slush. Had about 10″ of ice where I was sitting. Was about a mile walk out of Flickabirds. Fish were tight lipped though.
