      Well…. Weather was beautiful, and the fish were plenty. Great quality also. Drilled hundreds of holes and probably caught one in every other hole. What a great day to be on the ice. Even won $100 entering the biggest crappie into a tournament, which was 13.5″ weighing in at 1lb 5oz. Great day of fishing. I did not check the ice depth, there were plenty of guys out there with 1/2 tons, ice castles, and 3/4 tons. People were driving extremely fast and doing donuts on the ice…. Great quality… from the tournament, biggest walleye was 5.1lbs, and biggest pike was 13.19lbs. Buckshot with minnow produced bigger crappies, but plastic was out doing quantity but not quality.

              Has anyone been out on the lakes yes? Last I heard Big Sand and Clam were iced over but have not heard of anyone going out.

                Firing up the chat for the season. What is the ice reports for the area? Planning to fish December 26-29th on Big Sand maybe hop around to a couple different lakes. Has anyone been out?
