Here’s my 8# and 9# walters from Minaki, Ontario. My dad offered to mount the 8#er (I was about 14) and of course I said sure and then he felt roped in to put the 9#er in the deep freeze when I caught it the next day…
Pretty cool memories, these are the only walleyes out of about 9 total in my life (between 28-30″) to see the wall. I doubt I’ll mount another one unless its pushing 31.5…

It is a beauty, especially since the biggest I had caught before that was about 3- 4 lbs when I was 15 on Mille Lacs. It will be awfull hard to top this in my lifetime. I will keep trying though.

My wife and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary a couple of weeks ago. We spent three days fishing, and I pretty much got shown up. Friday she caught and released a 29 in and sat a 26in.
It was a great weekend!!
