            (if this works)

Here is a stringer of “nice” fish caught last summer. Three of them are about 19.5″-19.75″ (under 20″) and the larger one is about 21″ (typically I would release anyting over 20″, but we were in dire need of some walleye!) Many more were released in following weekends.

I did manage to catch two 7.5lb walleyes during this years Christmas break out ice fishing with my girlfriend one fantastic evening, (unfortunantly forgot the camara, but I will post a pic after their trip to the taxidermist). The next evening I went out alone and caught an even larger eye that was roughly closer to the 9lb range, and was immediatly released. I knew as soon as I got on the ice I had forgotten the camera, but I didn’t care since I had no intentions of catching another monster. good thinking….. Still fun to catch 3 of the 4 biggest walleye of my life in two evenings.

Here’s one from the pond. Caught her right after opener on a flat. Very typical Mille Lacs eye, long and skinny after spawning. She was just under 30″. <img decoding=” title=”” class=”bbcode_smiley” />

Only two fish that we caught on opener 2 years ago, caught at 12:15 and 12:30, then nothing for two more days!
