I can’t stand social media groups. Everyone is a snarky a-hole. It’s like a game to see who can be the wittiest jerk.
Stick 'em!Sad to see the web site is dead. Social media ruined it I’m sure. Just checking in and posting for old time’s sake. Anyone see FishnutBob?
Stick 'em!Only rubes watch NBA. Why don’t you post more about fishing and less about basketball? That’s why this forum is dead.
Stick 'em!It’s been a while since I’ve checked in and was wondering what the heck was going on. Yes, very sad. I hate social media and do not want to rely on it. Was coming here to check on ice conditions, and the lakes forums haven’t been replied to in 2 years.
Stick 'em!Wow, you are still on here? I haven’t been here for 5 years. We hit Rush last night. I’ll send you pics.
Stick 'em!We have always done pretty good everywhere with the gamakatsu plain red hook. lol
Stick 'em!As of right now, there is 12″ on the south side of cigar.
Stick 'em!Thanks. That brings me to another question though. How do you drain the fluid? Is there another plug besides the obvious one where you add fluid?
Stick 'em!When am I going to get to go out in that thing for some walleyes???
Stick 'em!I think everyone knew they were going to only act on anglers and leave the tribe and their nets alone once again. It’s like heading towards a brick wall at 90 mph and refusing to use the brakes.
It’s all corrupt as far as I’m concerned, yet most remain ignorant and complacent. Minnesota rubes.
Stick 'em!Interesting on the different view points of leaving in or taking out the hooks. Here’s one thing I have been wondering though, looking at many pics of fishermen with their catches. What is the correct and safe way to hold a walleye that is to be released for a picture before throwing back? I see a lot of fingers in the gills pics and that just doesn’t seem like it would be a good thing.
Stick 'em!Wow, you can really see the difference there! Now that LOW walleye looks really healthy like they should be!
I’ll try to post a pic of the 26″ if the phone pics turned out. Our dang camera ran out of batteries just as the action was heating up….of course.
Stick 'em!I’m late to the thread here, but yeah, you had me going. I was going to recommend a movie for you to watch with a couple of great fishing scenes, called My Summer Story. A sequel of sorts to A Christmas Story, also narrated by Jean Sheppard.
Stick 'em!Any idea how much it weighed?
Stick 'em!I can’t even have a conversation with my bro-in-law. I’m not sure he even hears me when I speak. So transfixed on the colorful lines. He always does seem to outfish everyone else, too. Even when I have my own little Christmas tree to look at. I don’t have the sickness as bad as others. But as much as the pretty lights indicating fish are addicting, so is the whirring sound. I need the white noise it provides if I don’t have a little music going. The ringing in my ears is too much to bear, so the little vex battery always gets a good workout. If only it had the power to make the fish bite on my lines the way my bro-in-law’s does. And then let’s not even speak of the other addiction attached to the vex. The glow jig charger, keeping me coming back to it time and time again. It owns me. It owns us all! There is no hope! Gahhhhhhhh!!!
Okay, okay…..I’m better now.
