I have used the k-drill extensively over the past couple years, along with the Clam Drill Plate. I am a competitive ice tourney fisherman, drill hole’s all day long, and with that said there are no better augers on the market. I run the 18 volt fuel brush-less hammer drill with 4 amp, and 5amp batterer’s. On the average with the 4 amp batt. i can cut up to 40 holes a battery. all depending on how thick the ice, after the ice get to that 20 inch mark, i go from the 40 to around the 34 to 36 holes. I keep 6 battery’s with on the ice. I really never have worried about battery’s getting cold, on the ice. but make sure you let them get warm before you put them on the charger.

On days like that you need to go find a 8 foot rock pile and, cork it… the wind brings the bait in and the fish are there eating…

Im not saying that, but there is no reason to go any farther that to tell him he was in the wrong. It is better the just inform him he was wrong, than go mob on him and string him up.

for the money the Berkley Trilene 100% Fluorocarbon, is your best bet.. It is strong, so you can go down to a lower pound test.

the wind was not great.. sat we fishing the river right inside the mouth of the lake, started fishing at 6:00 am and we were done at 6:50 am. Sunday we started in the river in the same spot, and did not do so well. I called Tyler, for some info, and we headed out on to the lake. fished a first brake spot that I had on my on my Bird, and the fish were there. Thank god for that, because the wind really picked up and the short rain storm came in. we ended up with 2 three man limits, and all in all a real fun trip for Me my brother and dad. first time in the boat together for opener in about 10 years.

A big thanks to west winds for the great fish fry on sat…

                                I’m no expert, but I like to start pulling crawler harnesses right about 60. or when I start seeing fish of the bottom. <img decoding=” title=”” class=”bbcode_smiley” /> <img decoding=” title=”” class=”bbcode_smiley” /> <img decoding=” title=”” class=”bbcode_smiley” /> <img decoding=” title=”” class=”bbcode_smiley” />

I DO NOT SUPPORT NETTING, but there are many other problems on the lake than just the nets… I have had a cabin on the lake for over 20 years and see all the chit first hand..
