Any strike is a good strike! I’m usually a troller. I love to see boards pulled back or tattle flags drop. Bent rod with leadcore… A sinking cork or a peck on a live bait rig… Let’s just fish!

My boat is ready to be put up for the winter… HOWEVER… It’s always ready for a river mission if weather permits. I’m not given in to mom nature quite yet. Fingers crossed for a little more time on the water.

Just bringing my old post back around for a quick update.
This year’s trip will be to Agency Bay… BUT… We’ll be staying at Bayside. We took a tour last year. Liked what we saw so we booked for this year. Last week in August. I’ll post a review when we get home.
Cabin update… We’re still in contact with the owners and even spent July 4th with them. Great people!! And when the time comes… Good things come to those who wait…
It’s completely up to my clients. Is it expected? No. But it is appreciated.
I offer a few different formats for a day, or half day, on the water. From just a boat and operator… To a all inclusive day with everything provided including a mid day barbecue.
If the guide didn’t pull his weight… Tip accordingly. But if the guide goes above and beyond… Tip accordingly.
Should / how much, do you tip your guide? Your call…
On the pond… both clients and myself limited out. Many overs and a few unders. But those keepers sure tasted good. Got a little sporty in the afternoon but nothing the Pro-V couldn’t handle.
The guys are enjoying a few barley pops at the fire. I’m cleaning up from today and getting ready for tomorrow. 0530 comes quick.
I normally avoid opener. But I’m glad I took this trip. Great people! Great times! Memories made!

So this “private property” was that of a band member? Or just someone’s property within the ceded territories?
Oral flea & tick for both pups. Little one got her first dose earlier this month. Older one gets her next, first of April. Then I’ll be in sync with both and heartworm. Thanks for the reminder! It’s been a while since I had two little ones to care for.
