Would it be the regulator if he can still use the stove? Guess I never have had a regulator freeze up to know how they act…

It is an Atwood and I was looking last night and couldn’t see any lights

Do you have the manual with you? What model Atwood? I’m not doing nothing I can look it up and see if it has a fault code.If it does they point to a problem easily. If it in the heater itself.
Everything I’ve read sounds good to go! Stove works so thefuel is commin in,the 12v system has all the lights powered.Have you killed all 12v power except the heater.I bet you did.So back to the manual. The heater just stopped by it self right?
I’m thinking it may be a faulty switch that controls fuel flow??
          Now which model?>>>>http://www.atwoodmobile.com/furnaces.asp

8500 iv model I have the manual it says there are light to tell you a code but I can’t see any light I can’t get the cover off the screws are stripped right from the factory. I’m see if I can’t get them out with a vise grip or something. It may just have ice built up cuz I brought my poor generator in and took some ice the plastic off and it was a solid brick of ice inside. It’s pretty nasty out here!

Good thing you got a back up plan!! It sounds like your furnace is trying to purge. I am not a furnace guy, but my brother has an ice build up in his pipe that would not let it purge( blow clean air through the burner in case of gas build up). With high winds and ice might help to check. How is fishin?

Well I got the cover off and found the light I believe it’s telling me low voltage so hopefully I can get the generator running again. But I don’t get it cuz the gen was running when the furnace tripped and I was using the gen for few hours after furnace tripped to run an election heater till the gen froze up. Thanks for all the help again. Ill let you know how it goes.

This is starting to seem more like work than fishing.

How big is your generator? then what is the wattage draw of the electric heater? The elec.heater may have taken all the generator power and the Atwood was short power then, so was the batt charger.meaning no charge to the batts. What wattage generater and what wattage heater will let you know.
I reread and missunderstood,I’ll leave my reply.BUT the electric heater wasnt running when the heater quit. Is their any reset of the gas heater? A posh button,Their hard to find sometimes if it even has one.

It’s a eu2000 finnaly got that running I’ve come to the conclusion the invertor is not charging my battery. Like everything else on an ice castle it is a cheapo and bound to fail. Trip over and ice castle for sale!

Is there an rv dealer in baudette or somewhere a guy might be able to find a new invertor? This one gas the breakers and fuse panel all in one?

Use a onboard charger. A invertor is a wast of money.
