Ice castle furnace help

That’s interesting thanx I guess I didn’t realize there was a vent in the bottom. I have another battery box that has no vents and was just gonna fab a vent that ties into the other one. I would imagine it would be just fine without a bottom vent?

Alright guys I know what the problem is. I just talked to ice castle directly and picked their brains. The inverters are just that…an inverter. They trickle charge the batteries but will not bring them back to life if they are near dead. You need an onboard charger to bring them back up to life if they are low. I am guessing this is where all of the problems are coming from. The inverter is made to be run all the time in order to keep the batteries up.

Ok we’ll first off I’m sorry for running everyone in circles. So this morning I took to it with a volt meter becuase before everything I was checking on the lake was done blindly with out tools. So the battery is good and fully charged and the converter is charging it. Back to square one! I ended back at the furnace and dug into it and I found a sticker telling the light codes rich were different than those in the manual. The code actually ment flow/ limit error so I replaced the limit switch and bam heat. That switch was way in there I had to completely disassemble the whole thing to get at it. Hope nobody else has to do that. Thanx again for all the advice and help.

On that trip I also had problems with my honda eu2000 just figured I’d let you guys know incase you have the same issues… And the problem with that was the oil level switch failed wich I guess is common but to replace it you have to completely disassemble that as well becuase the sensor is inside the oil pan. So I found the wire wich was a yellow wire in a six pin connector and in hooked it now it runs again. Just hafta make sure the oil is always full wich is something do anyways.

Not a common issue at all. How old is the generator and where did you buy it? Did you buy it new? I have only seen one in the 12 years I have had close ties with a Honda franchised dealer.

It’s less than yr old bought new. I did some research online and from what I found it was common and it was the cure for mine. I prob don’t have 150 hrs on it.
