I’m sure this topic is a nightmare for you moderators to keep an eye on. Why don’t you try making it so you have to be a member and logged in to see/participate in the threads like the classifieds used to be. So the lurkers, outsiders, and sponsors don’t even know there’s a thread being discussed. The mods wouldn’t have to keep such a close eye on them. Let em hash it out, as long as it doesn’t get to personal attacks. This is a very emotional topic, and I believe it’s too important to Minnesota sportsmen to be banned all together on LSF. Just my

Started out as “JJ Is a Jackbooted Thug is a moron ” haha or some such thing,was funny at 1st glance.
I wondered why JJ changed his original username from what is was too “Jackbooted Thug ” to so i googled it and this is what i found.

The Mille Lacs threads are informative and do bring something to the table. However some folks have figured out that if the discussion isn’t going their way it’s easier to get it nuked then to actually have to defend their position.
I understand the mod position is difficult. It probably does get old babysitting. However, thats the job you signed up for. It’s really no different then the fireman who is pi$$ed when his clothes smell like smoke.
You need look no further then FM to find out what happens when a site gets overly moderated.
For the record, I didn’t vote for this poll either.
No malice is directed towards anybody or the site in particular, just voicing my opinion as the thread asked for.
