silt is a vegetated matter, it should flow through, now sand is abrasive, thats no good for a impeller on a outboard. on a inboard it would harm the water pump.the few inboards i putzed with in fresh water never had any water system clogs or damage i knew of from silt.water pumps are fairly easy replacement on a engine BUT1 put that engine in a compartment thats small offta!.what you runnin as a boat? motor?

Of all the things I've ever done,
I aint never had Too much fun.highbreeze post is right,I’m on diamond it just sealed up,the shore line is walkable out maybe 100 yds then it thins quickly.I will go by kronis fri on the way to stcloud,my guess is its about the same as green almost wide open. EVER LOOK AT MODIS satilite view? if it clears of clouds you can tell if frozen or open…https://ge.ssec.wisc.edu/modis-today/index.php?satellite=t1&product=true_color&date=2020_12_16_351&overlay_sector=false&overlay_state=true&overlay_coastline=true§or=USA3&resolution=250m

looks like there will be a new sunfish limit on the chain starting March 1. article in todays st cloud times said they are looking to change the limit from 20 to 10 on 9 differnt area local lakes, well it turns out the lakes they named make up the horseshoe chain.yah your old lake, long is also included with diamond, green, george, nest and another.i dont mind it, but its to little to late as usual in government.
hey stranger…..how ya doing!!!!!!!! lifes been really busy, but that changed oct 1…i was forced to retire..but enjoying it so far!!!!
i havent heard anything bout those lakes. can you tell me where you got that info, i’d like to read it. i had heard they hit them pretty hard out there this summer. i was out there couple weeks ago, seen a bunch of nice sunfish walleyes and bass on my camera but they all had lockjaw!!!! ” title=”” class=”bbcode_smiley” />

Of all the things I've ever done,
I aint never had Too much fun.the engine oil capacity doesn’t include the oil filter capacity.so the .55 must be the filters fill. i have noticed in the last years small engines come with oil filters and cheaper models of the same engine come without.
Of all the things I've ever done,
I aint never had Too much fun.that crack is in the water jacket, only thing it may have caused a problem with is the water pump housing .its not near the lower oil case. run it and make sure its pumping water out the telltail/peehole. i have a rebuilt lower forsale if needed.actually its a whole 1975 25 johnson that i redid the whole ignition system and lower unit. how the heck did it get hit there? on a boat the transom protects that area of the motor?
Of all the things I've ever done,
I aint never had Too much fun.my guess is it must be sucking air somewhere in the intake, lots of hose clamps, gaskets for air to enter and rob the choke, the check valves are in the carbs

Thanks fellas. I think my cousin is going to replace both the impeller and the thermostat. Dew – that scenario seems the most likely to me. I read a few posts on iboats about a stuck poppet valve, or in yamaha’s terms a “pressure control valve” – any experience with those?Abit, that shouldnt be the problem at low/slow speed. Is it fixed? what fixed it?
