Thought I’d post this just for fun. Haven’t been on this site for quite a while. I sure enjoyed it when it was more active, Hope it lives on!
1-21-23 Maple Lake, Roadside Park at the pier. Wife and I set out in 14′, 18+” of ice, water visibility good. Crappies started at 5:00 sharp, iced 6 in 30 minutes, quiet after that but they were 10 & 12″ fish.

Just relaxCongratulations to your daughter! My daughter also took her first deer this year. 7 pt near Terrebonne. I turned to her after the shot and she was laughing/crying and shaking all at the same time. I’ve never seen that before!
Just relaxIf you want to know Exactly what is in the tank, locate the Tare Weight(TW) on the tank, weigh it and do the math. This works for everything but the 1 pounders. I just use a bathroom scale.

Just relaxGood time to talk about this subject. I had to put my 13 yo lab down yesterday due to late stage Lymes. She tested “slight positive” 5 years ago and we kept her vaccinated ever since. Didn’t matter. I used Frontline and collars and she never had many ticks on her. Didn’t matter. Damn Lymes. Gotta go- something in my eye.

Just relaxZone 257, My son and I saw nothing on Saturday, only a handful of shots fired in the area. Sunday morning this 8-point came in right away. This is only his second deer, pretty happy kid today!
Just relaxI had a 22a once. nice gun until it broke in half while shooting it one day. Seriously. The only thing holding the front half to the back half was the trigger guard. S&W replaced the frame no problem. but I sold it to a co-worker with the full story and it reportedly never shot the same. would jam at least once per 10 rounds. Just saying.
Just relaxTake a look at Maplewood State Park outside of Pelican Rapids. No Mini Golf, but town is not far away if you need something, and there is hiking and fishing at the park. Good luck.
