I’ve had my Rec Tec 590 for a bout a year now and I love it. Haven’t pulled the trigger on the sear grates yet, but I think that’s going to be my next addition.
I just emailed timjo a couple of weeks ago about a sunfish. I have to agree with the other comments, Timjo does great work.

Merry Christmas LSF’ers, and here’s to a better New Year!
Great to hear!
Thanks for the report Yodie. The weather looks like it’s going to be warm the next couple of weeks, so I’m sure the water temp will be quite a bit warmer. Hopefully the bite keeps going.
We ended up going out of Tavernier with Captain Barry Hoffman out of flatsguide.com. All in all it was a fun trip, we caught a lot of snook and a lot of trout, and a couple of redfish. We fished the Everglades National Park, so that experience itself was fun. Was hoping to catch some bigger fish or some tarpon, but he said the tarpon didn’t get there until about May. He is strictly a catch and release guide, so we didn’t keep anything. He was a pretty good guide, knew what he was talking about, and took us where other boats wouldn’t go.
Thanks BB. We ended up finding a guy out of Tavernier, Captain Barry Hoffman. We head out Wednesday, so we’ll see how he does.
Some more beautiful mounts again Timjo!
Merry Christmas all.
Kirk, well said and thanks for all you do to keep this site going!

I’ll second that. We love our Tatonka Dust.
Thanks for the report! Sounds like a great time was had by all!
I’ve got a camper just west of Emily. I need to find the walleyes up there some day.
That looks great!
Nice! Looks like a fun day on the water.

f4cr, which model did you go with?
A good win for the Vikes. Unfortunately it sounds like Hughes might have torn his ACL.
