They were down 9-0 until Cousins gave it all he had and somehow (well it was Detroit) Rudolph caught the ball in amongst 6 other guys. If that doesn’t happen to give them a spark, they get beat by the Motor City Kitty’s again.
They are still not using Cook to his full potential and without the non-existent Rudolph for most of the year coming through and Thielen and Diggs pretty much shut down too, the offense was still sputtering. That tells me a lot about the whole coaching staff.
BTW, stats don’t mean a whole lot when you’re 8-6-1. Wentz was at 69% completions and look how the Eagles were doing. Cousins was the missing piece (or so the team thought), has all the weapons a QB could ask for and a top 10 defense and he still can’t beat good teams and loses to bad teams too.

I’m looking for changes to come quickly. Zimmer included. What a dumb thing to do and throw his red flag right at the moment we got the first down. Coaches didn’t get the team ready period. Cousins isn’t worth the money he is getting paid. Lot more but I will give the defense some credit. They were getting worn out being on the field most of the game. good luck.

Fair season for the Vikings. O line needs a revamp, Cousin’s $$$$ ? Whoa not so much!!
Forever a Vikings fan win or lose.

My attitude is that I was a Viking fan since day one and always will be. However I still can complain lol. I watched the press conferance with Zimmer and Cousins and there seems to be a attitude problem. “not good enough to win” while true is a worn phrase. Where is the fire. Cousins has a robotic attitude about the loss as well as his playing ability. Kind of a “Oh Well” there is always next year. Sure it was dissapointing end to the season but oh well. Even laughed at some of the questions. Don’t like to see any of this at all.
Where the hell is the fire??? Why do other teams come out there energized [with nothing to loose] and go 100% the entire game. I believe as pathetic as Green Bay’s second string Qb was yesterday after Rodgers got the concussion, they still could of beat us. We were just not prepared at all. No leadership at all. no will to win. Kind of like some of the workers I have seen during the years at my work. Punch in and put in their time while not putting out 100% and punching out and not giving a damn as long as they get their paycheck.
Of all the penalties we had yesterday, dropped passes, and missed tackles the thing that struck me was this. Zimmer dropping the red flag as we made the first down. This was fourth down and about one yard. Cousins goes in on a QB sneak and makes it. You could see how pissed he was when Zimmer threw the red flag on the last play which we clearly did not make going for the first down. So I have more but I’ll leave it at that for now. Spielman has got to go before Zimmer goes but if both go I would not be surprised with their contract only runs through 2019. good luck.

Cousins is a bust and the vikings will be stuck with him again next year. Hard to imagine anything different next year…
Not just next year but they year after that too.
Cousins has been a bust his entire career (sans a few game here and there) but the Vikings bought his BS hook, line, and sinker. Ever wonder why the Redskins didn’t sign him to a long term contract? Well the Vikings now know why. “You Like That?” No, not really but he’s laughing all the way to the bank with $84 million.
I don’t completely blame Cousins for the Vikings sucking this year, I place most of the blame on the coaches and the GM. The coaches didn’t know how to use the multiple weapons they had at their disposal and the GM continually makes the wrong player decisions year after year. I have been saying for years the GM has to go and now even some of the Vikings fans are calling for them to go.
As for the “Fair season for the Vikings”, that just tells me that Vikings fans (some anyway) are content with mediocrity and expect nothing more from the team. And people wonder why I dislike the Vikings.

100 percent agreed. Never understand people that get amped up for this underachieving, disappointing team? Same thing for years and it will never change. Where was Rudolph in this game? They beat a Miami and Detroit team weeks before and everyone thinks they were going far? Face it, even if the Bear’s would have let them win, they would have been smoked in the first round.
Am I the only one that thinks the Bears made horrible decision to have to play the Eagles with red hot Foles instead of dominating the Queen’s in first half and let them win so you can whoop them next week?

If you don’t have a great offensive line it doesn’t matter who the QB is. Cousins is a pocket passer and that means OL is a priority. Vikings should of known this. Keenum could at least break away and make some plays when the line got destroyed last year. They have to address this this spring. It isn’t the best available player all the time when the need is so great. We have a great defense so let’s build on the offense [line, running backs, tight ends] this spring. good luck.

Let us all think what we want of each and every sport team we follow and cheer on.
Mediocre or not win or lose.
We all pay for the propoganda and feed the pockets of the teams with Billions of our hard earned dollar.
Opinions are like ……!
We all have them (one) some fill the pot and some just a drop in the bucket with a splash on the arse!
Chevrolet Dodge Ford Cat Polaris Honda Harley Yammy etc.
Time to go fishing and spend those hard earned dollars!

Cousins couldn’t even make simple 10 yard pass completions (some were way off wth), my son could play better than him, regardless of the line. But good for him to get 84 million. To put the topping on the cake–I really like the sleep number commercial where he sets his sleep number as states that is how he plays so well game after game:)

As far as opinions go , yes we all have them. At the same time then why even comment on this site our opinions on the Vikings, Gophers, the Wild or what baits to use? Yes the season is over but the draft is not far away. So should we not comment on the draft? I understand that the season is over and “let’s give it some rest” but this is the Sports page for those of us that are interested in it.
Sure Cousins made some bad play’s but he also made some fantastic throw’s that most of us saw and cheered for. Let’s see what happens in the draft, who the Vikings keep as far as veterans who are free agents ect. Yes we sure will go fishing but we can also make time to share our opinions. good luck.

Oh for-sure, not saying anyone shouldn’t share their opinion by any means. I was just voicing mine as well with the QB ” title=”” class=”bbcode_smiley” />
Wish they would have went further myself as it bites to have once in every 5-10 years where they go farther, but it is what it is. Im sure its bad heart burn for Zimmer as well as IMO he made a bad decision… But enough said, time to go fishing!!
