Cedar is a difficult lake to fish…most of the time during the winter! I’ve fished it my buddy who lives on the lake in Sunset Bay. We mostly fish the lake up north out of the old Edge Water area, by the small island and out front of the old Sunset Resort.

I’ve caught some nice crappies in the lake years past! Any water on the ice?

Nice report Bob. Some nice weather would sure help things I’ll bet. How’s getting around with a pickup off-road? Hope to be up once that snow melts down and the ice starts to get a little iffy. Love perch.

Good question…The snow has settled some, we ran the atvs and had no trouble. Its not a fast ride, but your able to get it done. We had a truck drive over by us at one time going across counrty. I would guess that the snow depth is around 8-12 inches give or take!

The warm sun can really take it down pretty fast!

Oh yes, its always a debate!
Many of us drive a Ford cause our dad drove one!!

I will say that they are both good products that will put “more fish on the ice” than fishing without one. I have used both.

It really comes down to what you want to use. Don’t just buy it…..go out and try them all and make up your own decision.

As far as Petersons Marina, its been closed for years…Their property was purchased by Henry at the Lakeside Resort and both property’s have been developed into Townhomes!!!

As far as “Pug’s Resort” on the east side that one is beyond me…….A guy by the name of Pudge owned the Wharf at one time??

I’ve been on the eastside of the lake a long time…born and rasied on the eastside…..and I’m 52 young years…..
